About the Service

Lafayette College iTunes U is a free, Lafayette-specific version of Apple's commercial iTunes Store. iTunes U is used to host and distribute audio, video and PDF files to the campus community.

Content can be made available to the public, to the campus community, or to individuals in specific classes, and is downloadable using Apple's iTunes software. Publicly accessible content can be subscribed to via RSS using third-party software such as Juice.

Files on the site comes in a variety of formats, but most are MP3s or QuickTime movies. A few M4P files (in audio and video formats) can be found as well. Visit the "Get Content" page to learn more about using iTunes U.

During Spring 2007, Lafayette College iTunes U is in limited release as ITS works with faculty and student volunteers to develop a campus wide system. If you would like to be involved in the project, please visit the "Share Your Media" page for information on how to volunteer.
